हमारा देश पश्चिम में अरब सागर, पूर्व में बंगाल की खाड़ी और दक्षिण में विशाल हिन्द महासागर द्वारा सीमाबद्ध है. इस प्रकार भारत माता के पूज्य पदों को ये तीन समुद्र धोता है. उत्तर में हिमालय हमारी माता के मस्तक पर मुकुट-जैसा शोभित है. वृहत नदियाँ हिमालय तथा पश्चिम घाट से निकलती हुई देश के अन्दर से प्रवाहित हो रही है. ये युगों से हमारी सम्पदा और वैभव के प्रधान श्रोत है.
