Candidates must possess a Master’s Degree from a recognized university in one of the following combinations:
M.A. in Hindi with English as a compulsory/elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
M.A. in English with Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject or as the medium of examination at the degree level.
M.A. in any subject other than Hindi/English with Hindi medium and English as a compulsory/elective subject.
M.A. in any subject other than Hindi/English with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory/elective subject.
M.A. in any subject other than Hindi/English with Hindi and English as compulsory/elective subjects at the degree level.
Additionally, the candidate must possess:
A Recognized Diploma/Certificate in Translation (Hindi ↔ English)

Written Test (100 Marks | 2 Hours)
Part-A: Objective Type (50 Marks)
General Hindi and General English
Translation of words (Hindi ↔ English)

Sentence correction and vocabulary
Part-B: Descriptive Type (50 Marks)
Two passages for translation (Hindi ↔ English) — 20 marks each
Expansion of thoughts (choose any 2 out of 4) — 5 marks each
Candidates must secure a minimum of 60% marks to qualify.
Skill Test (Qualifying Only)
Two passages for precis writing — 20 marks each
Two passages for translation (Hindi ↔ English) — 30 marks each

Final Selection Process
