2. (A) निम्नलिखित अनुच्छेद का हिंदी में अनुवाद कीजिये:
Translate the following passage into Hindi:
निम्नलिखित अनुच्छेद 2018 के जे JHT Exam के Descriptive Paper में पूछे गये थे. इसका अनुवाद जरुर देखें.
नोट:- हो सकता है कि आप दिये गये अनुच्छेदों का अनुवाद कुछ हटकर बनायें। किन्तु हमेशा स्मरण रखें कि अनुदित अनुच्छेद के भाव में अंतर नहीं होना चाहिए। एक और बात स्पष्ट कर ले कि निबंध और अनुवाद में हमेशा सुधार की गुंजाईश होती है। यही कारण है कि इन दो खण्डों में शत-प्रतिशत अंक की चाह ना रखें।
The path of social reform is strewn with many difficulties. Social reform in India has few friends and many critics. One class of critics consists of political reformers. It was at one time recognized that without social equality, no permanent progress was possible. Though many political reformers criticized the primacy of social reform, they were forced to reckon with the social problem while devising the Constitution. The constitutional questions are in the first instance not questions of right but questions of might. The actual Constitution of a country has its existence only in the actual condition of social force which exists in the country: hence political constitutions have value and permanence only when they accurately express those conditions of forces which exist in practice within a society. History bears out the proposition that political revolutions have always been preceded by social and religious revolutions.

समाज सुधार का पथ मुश्किलों से भरा है. भारत में समाज सुधार के पक्षधर कम और आलोचक कई है. आलोचकों का एक समूह राजनैतिक सुधारक है. कभी यह समझा जाता था कि बिना सामाजिक समता का स्थायी विकास असंभव है. हालाँकि कई राजनैतिक सुधारक समाज सुधार की प्रधानता दिए जाने की बात की आलोचना किये. संविधान को गढ़ने के क्रम में वे सामाजिक समस्याओं को समझने में पूर्ण रूपेण लगे हुए थे. प्रथम दृष्टया में संविधान के प्रश्न अधिकार के प्रश्न ना रहकर ताकत के प्रश्न है. किसी भी देश का वास्तविक संविधान देश में व्याप्त सामाजिक ताकतों की वास्तविक स्थिति में निहित है. अतएव, राजनीति का संविधान का महत्व और इसका स्थायित्व तभी है जब वे समाज में चली आ रही प्रथाओं उन ताकतों की स्थितियों को सही तरीके से व्यक्त करें. इतिहास इस सिद्धांत की पुष्टि करता है कि राजनितिक क्रांतियाँ सामाजिक और धार्मिक क्रांतियों से हमेशा पहले हुई है.
2. (B) Translate the following passage into English:

निम्नलिखित अनुच्छेद का अंग्रेजी में अनुवाद कीजिये: शिक्षा व्यक्ति की खोयी हुई शक्तियों को जगाकर उसे पूर्ण गुणवान बनाती है. केवल आदमी को साक्षर बनाना ही शिक्षा का उद्देश्य नहीं है. मनुष्य अंपने शिक्षाकाल में ही अंपने भविष्य निर्माण की सफलता के लिए सचेष्ट एवं क्रियाशील हो जाता है. प्रायः यह भी कहा जाता है कि व्यक्ति को अपने आने वाले जीवन में सफलता पाने के लिए शिक्षाकाल से ही तैयारी आरम्भ कर देनी चाहिए. जीवन का सर्वतोन्मुखी विकास करना ही शिक्षा का उद्देश्य है. सच्चाई यह है कि मनुष्य के मन-मष्तिष्क का जितना विकास आवश्यक है, उतना ही शरीर का भी आवश्यक है. मात्र पुस्तकीय ज्ञान से व्यक्ति अपने तन-मन और बुद्धि का विकास नहीं कर सकता. पढने लिखने के साथ ही व्यक्ति को खेलकूद अर्थात व्यायाम और ललित कलाओं में रुचि लेना आवश्यक हो जाता है. शरीर को स्वस्थ रखने के लिए व्यायाम का बहुत अधिक महत्व होता है क्योंकि स्वस्थ शरीर में ही स्वस्थ मन-मस्तिष्क का निवास होता है. यह अच्छी बात है कि आजकल लोग शारीरिक स्वास्थ्य के प्रति सचेत हो रहे है और खेलों को भी शिक्षा का आवश्यक हिस्सा बनाया जा रहा है.
Education makes a man a complete quality by bringing back his lost powers. The aim of education is not only to make a man literate. Man becomes active and full of effort right from childhood to attain success in making his career. It is often said that a man should get ready right from childhood to get success in the future. The main aim of education is to bring about all-round development of life. In fact, the development of the brain is as important as that of the body. A man cannot develop his body, mind and wisdom through bookish knowledge. Besides studies, he needs to take an interest in games and sports such as body-exercise and fine arts. In order to keep the body healthy, it is very important to do body exercise as ‘A healthy mind lies in a healthy body’. It is a good thing that these days, people are getting aware of a healthy body and even games and sports are becoming an essential part of education.
