As per the Exam Pattern given in the Notification 2024, Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti Junior Translation Officer Exam has the following Sections: –

  1. Translation – English to Hindi (25 Marks for 25 Questions)
  2. Translation – Hindi to English (25 Marks for 25 Questions)
  3. Mental and Reasoning Ability – (10 Marks for 10 Questions)
  4. General Awareness & Current Affairs – (20 Marks for 20 Questions)
  5. Subject Knowledge (Hindi/English) – (20 Marks for 20 Questions)

Total number of Questions – 100

Total Marks – 100

Time allotted – 120 Min. (2 hrs.)

This exam will be followed by Interview

Eligibility – PG with PGDT (Please, refer to notification for details)

The following are a few questions asked in the NVS JTO Exam – 2022: –

निम्नलिखित गद्याश को पढ़िए और उससे संबंधित प्रश्नों के उत्तर दीजिए।

‘विद्यालय में दी जाने वाली प्रत्येक प्रकार की शिक्षा किसी न किसी रुप में पर्यावरण से सम्बन्ध रखती है। अपने पर्यावरण के बारे में अध्ययन तब तक अधूरा है जब तक उसमें महिला द्रारा निभाई जाने वाली सक्रिय भूमिका का अध्ययन नही किया जाता। ऐतिहासिक रुप से महिलाओं का पर्यावरण के साथ करीबी रिश्ता है। उदाहरण के लिए शिकार जुटाने वाले समाज में भोजन जुटाना और खाद्य सामगिरी तैयार करना महिलाओं का ही काम है। यही कारण है कि महिलायें, पौधों के व्यवहार और विभिन्न प्रक्रियाओं से गुजरने के कारण, कृषि की भी काफी समझ रखती है।

भारत में ग्रामीण महिलायें ‘चिपको आंदोलन में सबसे आगे धी। यह 1970 के दशक में शुरु हुआ सामाजिक एवं पर्यावरणीय आन्दोलन था जिसका उदाहरण एक सफल जमीनी आन्दोलन के रुप में पेश किया जाता है। आन्दोलन सत्याग्रह और अहिंसा पर आधारित था। इस आन्दोलन में महिलायें पेड़ों से चिपक जाती और पेड़ और ठेकेदारों की कुल्हाड़ियों के बीज में आ जाती। इस आन्दोलन में भारत की प्राकृतिक संसाधन नीति को बदल कर रख दिया।’
